This Bongo flavored Afro-Soul track, called ‘Utapenda‘, by Tanzanian Hussein Machozi and Kenyan group Sauti Sol somehow fell off the radar. Released in last November it did not reach the audience it actually deserves. Hussein Machozi is a Bongo Flava artist from Dar es Salaam who is widely celebrated across East Africa and is known for a couple of songs, e.g. ‘Kafia Ghetto‘.
Just to illuminate all Sauti Sol fans that were recently told that the band broke up. It’s just a wrong rumour! Sauti Sol still exists and will hopefully do for many more years!
