2014 started with a great collaboration track: Tanzanian Diamond Platnumz created a remix of his ‘Number One‘ hit – together with Nigeria’s Davido (‘Skelewu‘,). It is wonderful to see that Nigerians will be introduced to the East African’s Bongo Flava genre, after Nigerian artists have so far focused more on projects with West African Artists. If you watch and listen carefully you can watch both dancing the Skelewu dance (2:24). Does it remain the only blockbuster East-West collabo in 2014? We hope not.

The video was directed by popular Nigerian cinematographer Clarence Peters. According to my memory, the last huge East-West collaboration was ‘Sweetie‘ with the Kenyan band Ma3 and Nigerian artist 9con.

  1. You completed several good points there. I did particular searches about the issue and found lots of people can relate with along with your blog.
    Great post!

  2. While the simple and classic whisk is great for many tasks in the kitchen, there are some times
and some recipes that require more speed and dexterity with the mixing, and that’s where these
valuable devices come in. You may wonder what they
can offer you that a regular oven doesn’t have, and that would
be a greater precision in what you’re cooking,
meaning no failed recipes or undercooked food. With it, I just insert the probe, program the device to the temperature
that I want, and continue on with whatever I have going on elsewhere.
