I got to know about Matshidiso’s video for ‘Running‘ through a AfriPop-post. Matshidiso (pronounced Mat-see-dee-so, a South African name meaning blessing or consolation) is an upcoming UK-born & bred Neo-Soul/ Folk/ Jazz artist, we will definitely need to follow in future. In the video for her neo-soulish song ‘Running‘ she takes us to the South African metropolis of Johannesburg. As she is running through the everyday life of Joburg, she passes by famous sites, like the Ponte City Apartments, the Johannesburg Stadium or the Orlando Towers in Soweto.
