Wetin dey happen?! #11

Kaakie Too MuchIt’s time to ask again wetin dey happen on the African dancefloors. Today we will travel from Botswana to Sierra Leone in order to get some nice melodies that will bring our shoes to the dancefloor.

We start our journey with the smooth House song ‘Dancing Shoes‘ by Botswana-born and Joburg-based artist Zeus, who is actually a hip hop artist but succeeded perfectly in switching the genre for this song. The next song ‘Swilili‘ by Mampi is a party hit in Zambia and might soon land in other African countries. Kaptain Scooter from Uganda provides us with a very melodious and entertaining tune from Uganda called ‘Baalaba Taliiwo‘. The next song brings us to Ghana, where Dancehall queen Kaakie delivers the down-tempo dancehall track ‘Too Much‘ and Sierra Leonean born artist Janka Nabay & the Buba Gang completes our journey with the song ‘Feba‘.
