Y’akoto has recently released a fantastic video for her feelgood-song ‘Good Better Best‘. The video strongly indicates her passion for dancing, which could not be shown through her previously released blues/soul videos. It was shot in Nairobi directed by Ghanaian-Kenyan Hawa Essuman.
In 2011 Y’akoto was the supporting act for world class artists such as Asa, Seun Kuti and Erykah Badu and this year she will host her own concerts in order to promote her LP ‘Baby Blues’. Born in Hamburg/ Germany and raised in Ghana, Cameroon, Togo and Chad she has definitely many stories to tell despite her young age.
